I want to run a modest mail server on my Linux box and I want some opinions on what software should I choose... I want somtheing as simple as possible to configure and mantain and not very secure... but still secure! Thanks for support...

What sort of mail server? IMAP? SMTP? POP3? More then one of the above?

pop3 and smtp server! Soon I'll get a permanent IP address and I want to install a mail server on my Linux box.

I suggest qmail or postfix.
