Mail proxy

Im sorry if this question has been asked before, I have done noumerous searched both here and on google to no avail.

I want to setup a mail proxy on my linux box. I want the machine to get mail from my isp's pop server, store it in a predeffined location and I want to be able to connect to the box and download new mail with Windows.

Anyone know how this could be done? What programs to use?

Fetchmail can download mails from several pop3 servers (e.g. of your ISP).

MailScanner can do some virus scanning/sanitizing upon receipt.

Qpopper is a good pop3 server to let your windows clients get your mails from the Linux box.
