Mail Problem


Any suggestions

Vanilla server installation of RH8.0
I can send emails from the app server as the root user
but whenever i send email as another user i get an error

THe error is reason: 553 5.1.8

domain of sender does not exist

am running from the prompt in both cases
using mail

mail -s "subject" <email_address> < /dev/null

Ta

So, what is your domain? Whatever it is, DNS cannot resolve it.
