MA111 make all ERROR again!


hi
when doing "make all" i get this following error thus i cant go further with "make install"

Im using Fedora Core 5..so the kernel is up to date i think.

the usb_driver structure changed and dropped a field that they
are trying to set

nothing to do but talk to the driver people or
remove that 'owner' field in prism2_usb.c line 317

thanx man it works now...
next step: try to figure out setup for the rest...

i have no idea why or the reasons behind it but the kernel guys sometimes just change the interface. I'm sure there is some internal design reason.
all we see is the kernel file /linux-x.x.x/include/linux/usb.h
no longer has the line in struct usb_driver {
struct module *owner;
might be able to find more by looking at the kernel guys emails about it
