M$, O'Rilley .chm files what sw is safe reader

Microsoft is supposed to use a new format for some help files.
O'Riley books is also using .chm files but Google shows some
people saying that they have the usual holes in them so that
Microsoft can insert malware into your computer. Do you remember
the security hole that enabled the theft of many Credit Card
details complete with the M$ programmers comment, "linux
programmers are wennies?"

What sw is safe as a linux reader for .chm files?

We know who the Real Idiots are.......over the past year and a half........there has been 35% more security holes found in M$ Xp and IE 7 than in any Linux/Open Source programs......It's just a matter of time before Bill gates shoots himself in the foot and then we can all have a good Laugh......

Let's do better than wait and laugh.

Regardless of how bad Microsoft gets let's hope
that we can continue to develop and use sw that
reads their files without falling through their holes.

One problem is that Bill Gates & company believe that
they need to destroy others in order to make themselves
great. When the One who created us all became flesh,
He showed us how to become great by helping even our
enemies. If Bill Gates & company never learn this then
at least we should practice it and become like Him
instead of like Bill Gates and company.

I don't want blindly accept broad statements that
Linux is secure. I would like to hear from someone who
really is sure that sw they have examined to read .chm
files is indeed safe.
