LVM configuration

Hello,

I've updated the LVM on RH7.3 Now I need to configure it but I do not manage it
I've added a second disk. I did not format or configure it. But I saw that the BIOS found the disk

This is what I've done
- Check proc file: #modprobe lvm-mod (I saw that the directory exist)
- #pvcreate /dev/hdb
pvcreate -- physical volume "/dev/hdb" successfully created

- vgcreate LVMDisk /dev/hda1 /dev/hdb1
There I had the error: "vgcreate -- no valid physical volumes in command line"

How do I need to configure it correctly. I used the manual http://tldp.org/HOWTO/LVM-HOWTO/index.html

Can somebody help me
