I think I got a broken pipe in my system
when i login as normal user
i do -> ls -l or ls , find, grep, ps but i can get who, finger
i recieve no response but with root permission i can get it function as normal
what did i screw up

i fix the problem.
There is a bunch of file in /tmp
that contain ls switch rules
[file]
find=/usr/lib/.../find
du=/usr/lib/.../du
ls=/usr/lib/.../ls
file_filters=uconf.inv,.config,bkit-,...,.tmp,bk5

[ps]
ps=/usr/lib/.../psr
lsof=/usr/lib/.../lsof
ps_filters=...,psr,bkit-,dufiles,downund3r,xfool,thewebri,bk5
lsof_filters=...,uconf.inv,psr,:6666,:5559,:irc,:5454,:4545,bkit-,:45091,:53419,bk5

[netstat]
netstat=/usr/lib/.../netstat
net_filters=6666,5559,irc,5454,4545,45091,53419,dufiles,downund3r,xfool,thewebri

I might say something to you. After i saw your post and you sayed that are some files in the /tmp directory that have that i might say if you didnt know about them it is a probability that you have a rootkit (trojan, backdoor)on your system.
I just say... i can not be sure.
