Lost Ubuntu / WUBI entries from Windows

Hi All

Don't know if this should be posted here or on a Windows site.

I installed Ubuntu on my windows machine, which dual boots with pclinuxos. I now wish to uninstall ubuntu as I don't like unity. I cannot find the entries in my windows program list to uninstall normally. Is there any other way that I can do this.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

You can have different Desktops Environment(DE) or Window Managers(WM) as you wish not just Unity, by the way a lot people doesnt like it.
Check this out: http://xwinman.org/ Consider try different graphical user interfaces(GUI) before completely removing your Ubuntu,
most known ones are Gnome, KDE, Xfce, Lxde, Fluxbox, Blackbox, Openbox, there are many choices that you can have as replacement for Unity.

Regards

I suppose that you have Wubi install of Ubuntu.
Have you uninstalled the Ubuntu from Windows or there is no entry of Ubuntu in the Add/Remove programs list.

Go to the Ubuntu folder on windows, and you will see an uninstaller. If you don't, insert Ubuntu cd, and then uninstall.
If it still doesn't, do it manually; delete the ubuntu folder and remove the entry from windows boot.

Thanks for the replies folks. Decided to reinstall Windows (required for some things) and my usual linux flavour pclinuxos. Will keep trying other distros but will watch the boot options - cheers
