Im looking for the best Windows Emulator
I want some thing I can play games on
and some thing I can run windows xp with, for my gf
any help would be much appreciated

Better to look at www.transgaming.com - you could also use Dosbox/Bochs to play old DOD games or Qemu or Vmware to install Windows inside Linux, though for the latter 2 you would need a very powerful computer to avoid it running very slowly.
Well yes, this is the Cedega website and there is a link to it from the Freshmeat page but I couldn't see a download link there whereas Freshmeat has one for each package format.
Edit: Sorry there is a link to Cedega on that website but it takes you to an online registration form etc.... I'd still prefer to download from Freshmeat.
The full version is only available if you pay for it. The CVS version which is no cost is missing a number of things - though it still works. You will only get support for the full version, too.
