Looking for telephone tree autodialer software

I've been searching for an Open Source program that would call a list of people and deliver a message. Currently my church depends on people calling through lists in order to pass on reminders, and we would like to automate that process. There are commercial machines on the market that run up to $1000 that are basically a computer with a multiple line modem. Hoping to find a more cost effective solution.
