Looking for auto text tool

I am looking for an easy-to-use auto text tool; specifically a program which will run in a graphical environment (xfce4, kde) and which allows linking hotkeys to text input for any program, so that I could for instance press 'Ctrl + Shift + B' as a shortcut for typing 'Best regards' into a mail or office program. I've looked on sourceforge.net but only found TweakKey for Windows.

I realize that it's perfectly possible there already is such a tool in either my distribution (suSE 9.0) or even in my installation of KDE, but if there is I seem to be too stupid to find it. Does anyone know of such a program?

Robin
