Question Looking for a program that plays vqf

hi,

i'm looking for a program that plays vqf sound files on the console.
and, if possible, it should be able to tell me the length of a song by command so that i can use this feature it in scripts.

thanks for your help.

It depends on how you want to use it. There is a vqf plugin for XMMS, and also a program named xmms-shell which controls xmms from the console. I'm not sure whether xmms-shell can find song lengths though. Have a look:
Plugin:

XMMS-Shell:
http://www.loganh.com/xmms-shell/ (I couldn't connect to this)
