looking for a GNOME frontend to giFT

I used to use Apollon for KDE... but have sinced moved to the GNOME desktop.
i dont hant to hav to install all the KDE dependencies just for one aplication.

I have tried giftUI and gifToxic.
both are very annoying.

for example, lets say i want to cancel 10 downloads... in Apollon, i could highlight the 10, and then cancel them.

in the Gnome vrsions mentioned above, you have to select and cancel each one individually.

gift is a running project, but all the gnome frontends to it have gone 3 or 4 years without a version release of bug-fix.

any recomendations ???

How about gtk-gnutella. It comes close to Apollon. I've never been able to run many plugins on it but its decent. And I think you can select multiple hits at a time. Give it a shot!

like i said in my origonal post...

im looking for a gift-frontend. gtk-gnutella is a gnutella client.

also, like i said in my first post, ive tried giftui.. and its a dead project, with a very poor user interface.

If you find appolon better than existing gtk clients, use it, i don't think you will find something else better for gnome than giftoxic/giftui.

its a nasty waste of disk space having to install QT, kde-libs, and kde-base just for one application.

At the moment im using giFTcurs.
A command line gift frontend.

and its has the best fastest, and easyest interface ive seen yet.. which is very bad news for giftui and giftoxic.

Given the size of the GNOME project, i assumed there would be an up-to date good frontend to gift.. but it seems the fronend projects are dead.

i will stick with giFTcurs.
