Unable to configure Wine in Mandrake 10.1

Hi,

I am unable to configure Wine in Mandrake 10.1. The main prob i am facing is that wine is not configured to recognize any drive as of yet. eg. C, D etc

Usually its supposed to do by itself during install, but when I tried to run the Wine COnfiguration tool from root, the tool was appearing to set up drives and audio drivers, but when I restarted my system and re-run the config tool, it had forgotten the previously auto detected values. (it never stored I guess).

Please suggest me what to do about this...

You need to log out of X services (GUI), to a Command Line Interface (CLI) then logof your user account, login as root then run "starx"

If you automatically logon to the GUI then It's better to change your runlevel mode at start-up.

do a search for info on changing your runlevel in /etc/inittab if that's the route you want to take.

Warning: the specified System directory L"c:\\windows\\system32" is not accessible.
Warning: could not find DOS drive for current working directory '/home/ron', starting in the Windows directory.
Wine 0.9.11
Usage: wine PROGRAM [ARGUMENTS...] Run the specified program
wine --help Display this help and exit
wine --version Output version information and exit
