Hi -

Short answer: "libflashplayer.so" belongs in your browser's "plugins" directory. For example:

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...yer-so-778198/

or

http://forums.opensuse.org/get-help-...player-so.html

can you be a pit more specific?
how did you install flash?
there is a link to it in/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins ( or the firefox home folder)
depending on how you are set up /usr/lib, /usr/local/lib /usr/lib/flash-plugin

To USE it, it needs to be in, or symlink'd from the browsers plugin directory. WHERE you actually put it is of little consequence as long as the users of it can read it when the browser launches. But it needs the /usr/lib/<browser>/plugins/ link to work in most cases. If it's there already, follow the links if you don't want to recreate them.

ls -l

ln -s <old> <new>
mv <from> <to>
cp <from> <to>

lots of means to an end. Of course you have to have libflashplayer.so to do anything with it.
