loadlin xp

Is there a port of loadlin to xp? I realise that it needs true DOS to run as it tries to take total control of the kernel, memory etc. but has anyone ever ported it to work in xp? is there a way to get it to run under qemu bochs or some other emulator? or is this all a failed effort?

I've never used loadlin, does it allow linux boot and run from within windows (i.e. like qemu or coLinux)?

I always hear of "Grub for NT" in the same sentences as loadlin, so I'm not sure if that would be an option either...

loadlin is not GUI compatable and AFAIK will not work with an emulator.
