Live Digital Cable Streaming Over Internet For Free

With TVU Player, you can get live Digital cable, streaming over the Internet to your PC, for FREE. You can watch HBO, Disney, FOX, ABC, all the big networks and more for no charge!

Only problem is, there's no Linux client.

Does anyone know of a Linux-based program that does this without the use of a TV Tuner Card?
I'm using Ubuntu with Gnome. Thanks.

It's not free; it's illegal. At least it is in the USA and countries with similar copyright laws.

I'm no lawyer but this surely has to be illegal in many countries.

I can't think of any linux apps that allow streaming of this type of content. If you plan to pursue this it would be wise to check your local laws. Really have to wonder how smoothly this streams anyway, p2p programs being a bit unpredictable.

Not major network channels, but this is legal:Watch Television broadcasts on the Internet.

Also you may want to take a look at

Trying to watch network tv is more than likely illegal in most countries.

Thread closed because you are asked for things that are illegal which is against LQ Rules.
