linux won't boot if i overclock

I have a pentium !!! 700MHz cpu, i had overclocked it to 889MHz before installing redhat linux 7.1. i installed linux 7.1 last week along with win98 and i am using lilo to boot both windows and linux, win98 boots at 889Mhz but linux won't boot at 889 i have to drop my frequency to 800 to make linux work, is there a way to get around this problem? :newbie: |
