Linux won't boot
 

I have just installed Slackware 8.0 on my system and it hangs at the following message during boot time:
"raid0 personality registered"

Does this phrase mean that it's trying to use radi with my system? If so I'm not using raid. Can anyone give me some ideas on how to get around this?
