Linux/Windows Camera Network

I'm looking for a program that will allow me to view other webcams on my network that will work with Linux and Windows. I have three computers, two Windows (not mine) and one Linux (mine). The closest thing that I've been able to find is a Windows only program called CamLan. It's here: http://www.camlan.camsurveillance.com/ All I really want to be able to do is be on any computer on the network and view any of the webcams feeds, not a photo every 30 seconds, the actual feed. And being able to access all this from an outside computer via the internet would be nice too but not a necessity.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Try camsrv. I've not used its java client/server system, but there would seem a reasonable chance that this is the kind of thing you're looking for.

Alternatively, I believe that videolan can be configured to take a webcam input. Not sure which platforms the videolan server is supported on.
