Linux Web Hosting

Bonjour Guys,

Can anyone pin point me in the right direction as of what I need to do to set up servers for people to host their websites?
Or any website that teaches on how to set up servers for web hostings. I need to mention that it will be linux-based.

Thank you for your help folks.

Actually, while you're learning I'd stay off the net as you're almost definitely going to be exploitable until you learn how to nail the systems down.

Thanks Guys for your replies.
What you are telling me is to get a good book on apache and that should be enough to know how to host websites or how to make it a linux server for my own website. Will any book on Apache teach me on how to set up my website to let people create their websites on my servers?

Thanks

Slackware would be a good choice for building a server. Check out shilo's page on installing slackware, it also has a section for making it a webserver (Its the link on the left side that says "Servin' Web Sites"
