Linux vacation command

How can I use accented characters in the .vacation.msg file created by Linux vacation command ????

If I enter accented chars in this file they will be displayed at the receiving end as "unreadable"-chars...........

I use Suse 9 & Courier-IMAP/Postfix but I suppose this is a general Linux problem...........

Regards Gurra1

The machine at the receiving end must have the correct character set installed and enabled to properly dispaly the accented characters.

Where do you find the vacation command. I can't find it on my computer?
