Smile linux ubuntu xml problem


Hi!

i developed one application in vb 6.0. and creating .exc for that application, and want to run that .exc on linux ubuntu. i am able to run
the application using .exc but problem is that .
In my application there is so many xml file which not support in linux ubuntu and giving error like this .."ActiveX server can not create object"
run time erro '429'

can any one help me...........

I don't know if there's an engine for VB in Linux, but the file you are trying to execute is not natively supported.

I would suggest you to use VB .Net for your program and run it with Mono (which is included in Ubuntu).
