Linux Software Question

I am kind of new to Linux and I did a default installation of the software packages when I installed RH9. How can I go back to customize the software that I want available?

P.S. I tried looking for the answer, but was unsuccessfull.

in console:
redhat-config-packages
or in kde-menu:
add/remove applications
