linux remote host monitor
 

Hi,

can anybody help me to find out program to monitor remote linux servers

using httpd , ftp , pop3 protocals

I would highly recommend Nagios for this if you are intending to monitor the services themselves...

I have been using an older version of Nagios called NetSaint for about three years to monitor about 180 servers and 30 or so routers. It has been rock solid and extremely reliable. All the Windows admins consider it to be our most important monitoring tool for our 18 or so sites.
