Hello all
Pl try to recommend me some easy to install and useful monitoring tools for Linux. We have Cricket and Nagios installed. The problem is installation is not straight forward and usually the troubleshooting is little cumbersome. I am looking for some tools which are easy to configure and future maintenance.
what kind of troubleshooting. getting nagios working is easy for such things as ping. splunk might be useful as well. check out the nagios website for news about it.
I recently discovered dstat through Freshmeat. Google "dstat" and click on the first link. I would just link to it directly, but it won't let me post links to outside sites until after I've made more than five posts.
