Linux -> Mac : Audio Chat : How???
My girlfriend has a G4 iBook and I have SuSE 9.2
We'd like to voice chat together... how can we do this? -Riddick |
I know the official AIM client on Windows lets you have an audio chat with users of iChat AV or AIM Mac, but I don't know if the official AIM client for Linux can do this. It can't hurt to try, and if it doesn't maybe you can use Wine to run the official AIM Windows client on Linux.

It doesn't have the audio bit!

Ok, you'll have to use Wine. As I said I don't run Linux so I can't try these things, just reply based on what I've read. If "wine aim.exe" is the same syntax as what you use to launch apps with Wine then I assume it will work. It can't hurt to try.
