Linux is getting me mad. ndis

More error messages than Vista..

I was installing ndis installer. And it couldn't find kernel version.
Im running Debian.

I typed
cd /home/billy/Desktop/ndis
make

It outputted cannot find kernel version in /lib/modules/2.6.26-1-686/build.

In the 2.6..26-1-686 folder, there is no file or folder named build.

Help me out heree!

ndis installer do you mean ndiswrapper ?

aptitude update
aptitude install build-essential module-assistant wireless-tools
m-a update
m-a prepare
m-a a-i ndiswrapper
aptitude install ndiswrapper-utils-1.9

now configure ndiswrapper as you normally would.. http://wiki.debian.org/NdisWrapper
