Linux installation on SUNSPARC 20 workstation

Hello All,

I recently got my hands on sun sparc 20 workstation and want to install Fedora Core3 on it.
I have significant Fedora installation and have done all dual boot etc stuff but i am not able to install it on SUN SPARC.

Any help in this regard is highly appreciable.

Welcome to LQ!

I didn't know FC is available for SPARC. I visited Fedora site and they have only PPC and x86 and 64. Where did you get it?!

No i never got it.
what i meant was that i have experience with Fedora Core3 on intel systems.
i was wondering if any one could help me....by letting me know which Linux system can i install on SUN SPARC

Go to http://distrowatch.com/search.php and choose SPARC.

I installed FC3 on my Sparc workstations, this distribution might help you.
Your problem was the architecture, Sparc architecture is diferent from Intel.
