I install the ANSYS sofware on my computer, and I have a problem when I want to launch the program. Here I will put the error:

/usr/ansys_inc/v110/ansys/bin/linia32/ansys.e110: error while loading shared libraries: libXm.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

What representin this mising file?

You don't seem to have libxm installed. Install it and you should be able to open it, unless there is another dependency problem up ahead you don't know about right now. I believe libxm is part of openmotif (libmotif3), so you need that.

What distribution do you use?

Thank you for your advice. I used the last version of UBUNTU (version 9.04), and ANSYS 11.

If you want to be more explicit in your advice, because I am a beginner in Linux, but I like it.

In this case it is possible to install that folder from CD of ANSYS from intermedium of "copy" function ?

Because in this case means that the folder which missing, is not installed by default with the base program. I'm not shore, it is only a suposition.

Your advice it was very useful for me, because I installing ANSYS 11 on Ubuntu 9.04.

From launch panel of Ansys I started Ansys Classic. But I encountered a new problem:
when I want to launch from launcher panel or terminal comand the Workbench module, appear the next proposition :

Segmentation fault
Press <Enter> to close this window

What means that, what connection, link, or file missing?
