Linux Fails to boot with error "Starting Create Static Device Nodes in /dev..."
I now have a failure to boot my linux system (raspbian). I'm not exactly why this is happening. I had done a lot of things: I tried to install google-drive-ocam and it failed to install properly then it ran out of disk space. I uninstalled libreoffice apt-get autoremove, update, upgrade, clean then installed gdrivefs via pip. It worked and I was able to access my google drive. I figured with all of the software changes I should get a reboot. After the reboot it would not get past the last line of the log. I tried to get in to the recovery login but it does nothing. I also took the drive out and mounted it then commented out the line fstab - no effect. Here is the log:
[ 4.040413] systemd[1]: Started udev Coldplug all Devices.
[ 4.057455] i2c /dev entries driver
[ 4.081362] systemd[1]: Started Load Kernel Modules.
[ 4.196061] systemd[1]: Mounting FUSE Control File System...

[ 4.230596] systemd[1]: Mounting Configuration File System...
[ 4.244988] systemd[1]: Starting Create Static Device Nodes in /dev...
Can someone please help?
