Linux equiv to Adobe Premier??

I've got a client who has been (unhappily) using Adobe Premier with XP to capture & edit digital video. MAn, talk about crash-o-matic!

What exists in the Linux world to do this kind of work that is reasonably user-friendly??

TIA!!

Try Cinelerra. It's just about as 'user-friendly' as Premiere, for whatever that's worth.

BTW Don't believe the minimum hardware requirements listed on their homepage. If you can run Premiere, you can run Cinelerra.

Enjoy!
