i don't mind windows existing. i just dont' want it existing
where i have to use it or answer questions about it.
i've got ogle, vlc, xine, mplayer all working here for
dvd playing. xine and vlc crash the most. ogle handles
the menus well.
i have the mplayer cvs on here, and update and compile
every couple of months. from cvs, you have to download
ffmpeg seperately.
sometimes i'm playing vob files from a dvd and mplayer
handles the first one fine, then with the rest, there is
no sound or the wrong language. i've been using
xine for those, and it works fine.
