Linux Confg. for 4 speakers.
 

I use Mandrake 9.1, and have been looking at the 4 speaker thing for a while. I know about PCM and all, and have sound in all speakers, but in the Linux kernal I found it was set on 2 speakers. After going into root, and setting it into 4, it gave me 2 new options - Use Line-In as Read Out and Use Line-In as Bass - and it asks me to press Y... I press y in the same control center, yet nothing happens. Anybody who has exprienced/knows what to do know how to do this? I dont even know if it will make a difference in sound (though im hoping so, in my world theirs never enough bass :P) But ya, if you can help me out as of how to press Y, or if I should or shouldn't even do that, and what difference it may make..
