"linux burning software open source" what's the best out there
Hi,
I do not run kde or gnome on my system, I run fluxbox, and am trying to keep my system small, and clean for a graphical desktop. Does anyone have any opinion on what the best graphical cd burning frontend is. |
without KDE K3B is out for you, the only thing that comes to mind is xCDroast http://www.xcdroast.org/
|
Hi,
thanx for the reply. The problem I have with xcdroast is that you can't drag an mp3 drop it, and burn an audio cd. You have to convert them into wave files first. So I'd prefer something a little more developed than xcdroast. Is xcdroast even being developed anymore? |
try graveman. i think its based on gnome libs but it doesnt have near as many dependencies as k3b
|
Hi,
Thanks I'll try graveman, and it looks just like k3b in terms of all the functions it can perform. Good to know there is a lightweight frontend thanx |
