Linux backup software and drive mirroring software

I am looking for a backup solution for my RedHat 8 and 9 servers that can do regular and incremental backups, but also do disk mirroring. The drives to mirror are not necessarily attached to the backup server. I'm looking at Veritas and Legato but Veritas doesn't support Standard Editions of Linux and Legato has limitations on this as well.

I'm considering mirroring because I need certain servers up at all times so if one goes down, recovery time has to be minimal.

Also the solution may have to support Windows and Solaris.

Thanks

PING (Partimage Is Not Ghost)

Hi ;
you might want to try PING for disk/partition mirroring. PING is linux-based, and can handle almost all current hardware configurations and OS (windows, unix, etc.). It has lots of other features, and can be used as a full-featured rescue ISO.
