Linux and MIDI

I have a Roland A32 and a Sound Blaster Live Value! in my PC. I would like to be able to use the MIDI port and patches on the SB Live! to play the keyboard. (The keyboard is just a MIDI controller.) Can I do this in Linux and, if so, which options do I need to select in the kernel?

Thanks.
