Linux 7.2 - member of w2k domain

Hi everyone,

A question repeated for millions of time:

I want to make RH 7.2 server a member of w2k domain.

Steps:

1. Create computer account for Linux box on w2k server
2. Install and configure SAMBA on RH 7.2.

Any other thing that I am missing out here?

cheers
Ketan

3. Mount the share.

I use swat for my configuration. It's a GUI webmin app. It works quite well. It helps you make sure you've got the settings right.

To add to this -

This RH 7.2 will be running DNS (BIND) and act as primary DNS. W2K DC will be running as secondary DNS.

What specific changes need to be made in smb.conf (or by using SWAT)?

cheers
