Links browser with graphics

Hi,

I'm running Slackware 8.1 on a 486 in console mode only.

I surf the web using Links, but I would like to see inline graphics. I heard this is possible through SVGAlib or framebuffer.

I'm however unable to compile Links myself, because I don't have enough diskspace to install a compiling environment.

How can I view graphics in Links? Is it enough to install SVGALib or framebuffer (xvfb ?) What else do I need?

Thank you!
Patrick de Pinguin

No, not really lynx, it is a "newer" version of lynx called Links.

There are other Links-projects that can display graphics, but I can't compile any of them due to the disk space problem I have.

If anyone could compile me such a version I would be very very grateful.

Anyway, here are the links to those browsers:
