hello i have been trying to follow a getting started manual for programing a development board for olimex STM32-P103 which is based on aem cortex m3 as a project.being new to the programing part i was freaked out when the guide did not work as it should.the manual is available at

in section 5.5 the command


arm-none-eabi-run factorial


was not giving an output but executing enlessly instead of displating the desired output.


second the errors keep popping up when i try to use appropriate script file instead of "script" in sec 5.1 while executing


arm-none-eabi-gcc -o factorial main.c -T script

inspite of giving a script file generic.ld and modifying the path to include its directory it says no such file or directory.if the give the entire path for the linker file it then says "cannot open linker script file micro-names.inc: No such file or directory"


i can even find the file when i navigate manually.why is it unable to see the file even after modifying the path?somebody please help.
