Where do you get RHEL - you have a look at the Red Hat website. This will tell you how to download and how much you have to pay. If you don't pay you can download but you will not receive any updates.
Alternatively you may want to use a free alternative such as CentOS or Scientific Linux. I have attached a link to a search engine which should aid your quest
Hi all, Where do i get RHEL 6.0/6.3 ? Is there any free download available ? It's NOT for commercial purpose (learning purpose).
Please provide me exact link.
Above link also NOT workable,
Read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature. We are NOT going to look things up for you, and "provide you exact link"....there is NOTHING stopping you from finding a link on your own. And amazingly enough, if you want Red Hat Linux, you can get it from THEIR WEBSITE...for FREE.
And the "learning purpose" excuse for not paying for RHEL is pointless...RHEL is a commercial distro. You CAN use it for free, if you'd enjoy having a buggy, unpatched, unupdated system with security flaws, since you WILL NOT get updates and fixes otherwise. Also, RHEL 6 is OLD...the latest is 7. If you're not going to pay, then load CentOS...you can find "exact link" for that with a Google search as well.
Hello TBone,
If someone helps you, or you approve of what's posted, click the "Add to Reputation" button, on the left of the post.
Did you mean to click on green buttons ? What is the actual benefit ?
Your answers can be found if you read some of the links in the boxes on the right of the screen...again, the LQ Rules, "Question Guidelines" and "How to ask a smart question" links should be ones you read first.
Again, to stay focused on this thread, unless you're going to PAY FOR RHEL, then don't use it. Get the latest CentOS....and look that link up yourself.
