LimeWire won't let me change the save dir.
I'm having trouble with LimeWire. I copied LimeWire to /usr/local and make a executable script that runs java -jar LimeWire.jar. So far fine. However, LimeWire keeps creating directories in my home directory: LimeWire (where it was orginally when I extracted it), incoming, Incomplete, & temp. Then when I try to change the save directory to /home/aramh/Downloads, it tells me that it can't use that directory. The only directories it will use are those that are in the /home/aramh/LimeWire directory. I haven't tried using the /usr/local/LimeWire directory, but I don't think that will work since you need to be root to access that folder (so even if it could work, I wouldn't want to use it). Please help me. Thank you. I'm running Redhat 9 with KDE.

Deleted Limewire
I've deleted LimeWire and gone with Apollon/giFT. It has support for both Fasttrack/Gnutella and it's own proprietary format OpenFT and is much easier to configure --and use--than Mldonkey.
