Question Limewire doesn't load correctly... what can i do?> - I have beryl...

Hello, here's my problem With beryl, limewire's gui doesnt load, i open limewire, i get the splash screen, even the nag screen to get pro, but the actual program doesnt load, just a big white square, when I turn beryl off limewire loads just fine... is there a setting or patch, or something to fix this, as limewire does run under java?
edit- by the way i installed beryl using the following instructions, http://ubuntu-beryl.com.ar/ with the nvidia settings, i just added beryl-manager to startup programs so it loads on system startup.

Perhaps you should change which AWT_TOOLKIT to use. Set the environment variable AWT_TOOLKIT to something like MToolkit (i.e., “export AWT_TOOLKIT=MToolkit”).

See here.

This means we’re making progress…

Perhaps you don’t have Java 5 (and instead have Java 6, which lacks the Motif toolkit). Try following the instructions (or the nice little script) for Java 6 found here.

i know this really doesn't address the issue but ever tried torrents if this is the limewire for p2p file sharing it would make sense to me if you're using linux most distros already have torrent clients such as ktorrent in the kde desktop environment as an example but i'm a noob what do i know besides every computer user has their preferences

Perhaps there was a problem with your distro overwriting or reverting your changes to rt.jar. Check the modification time for $LIB_PATH/rt.jar (where LIB_PATH is your java library path).

um i have used GTK Gnutella and tried some torrents, but frostwire and limewire are what have worked for me, and my favorite layout was the frostwire/limewire one compated to GTK and seem to work better, of course it is just my prefrence not that they are necessarily better. Um ok i'm gonna see what i can do, if i have more questions i will post, thanks,...
