Lilo Problems

I am a tnewbie to linux, and I am having problems with lilo, I have 2 20 gig hd's partitioned as such, not sure about all the hda stuff but it looks like this, the master hd has 2 partitions, divided between WinME (fat)and Win2k(NTFS), the second hd is split like such , 10 gig BEOS (BFS) 5 gig Fat32 for storage, and 5 gig Linux.
Boot is handled by Beos bootmanager called Bootman, but I can only boot into beos,win2k, and ME, because I couldnt install Lilo due to some 1024 cylinder reason, so I use a boot disk to boot into it..
I may of just made a mistake running Lilo from terminal, this is the error message I got.
[root@cb37898-b /root]# lilo
Warning: /dev/hdd5 is not on the first disk
Warning: BIOS drive 0x82 may not be accessible
Warning: BIOS drive 0x82 may not be accessible

Added linux *
Added dos
Added hda1
[root@cb37898-b /root]#
My gut feeling is when I reboot I am in for a nightmare, thankfully I backed up the MBR a few days ago( hope I can find the floppy heh).
Is there a way for me to fix this problem, actually I want bootman to be my bootmanager but when I pick /boot from bootman and list it as Linux, and try to select it nothing happens at all.
Any advice is appreciated

Sorry for the double post, but I rebooted and I guess Lilo didnt do squat to the mbr because BEOS bootman picked it right up, I will continue to peruse the forums and net , if I figure it out b4 I get a post Ill be sure to let you know,

thanks in advanced guys
(yes I know I spelled everywhere wrong)
