Question LILO Problem

Is there anyone out there who has to press Ctrl on the keyboard to bring up the LILO boot menu.

I know this is not much of problem, but I'm was wondering if there's a way to get the LILO boot menu up without having to press Ctrl.

I have not tried this. Look in the /boot directory and see if you see a file named "boot-text.b". If you do, edit the line:

install=/boot/boot.b

To read:

install=/boot/boot-text.b

Then run lilo. This should give you a text menu.

If there is a file named boot-menu.b, I think using it will give a graphical menu. I'm not sure. I hope this helps.
