I had to install the kernel of the cdrom red hat
to have my new computer run linux.

When launching /sbin/lilo, I get :
Fatal: open /boot/boot.b: No such file or directory

How do I create (or have it created) this file?
I guess it must fit my environment, my lilo version , etc...

'locate lilo' gives me :

I used to have some others on my right installed Mandrake...
I suspect lilo isn't really installed.

my friend, i share your fears..... check "rpm -qa | grep lilo" to see if it's installed, boot.b should come with the lilo package, as do the lilo binaries, which aren't in your listing there, but you did edit it...
