likewise-open joins domain but doesn't allow to login

I am using likewise-open to join an AD domain.
My problem is that all though my Ubuntu 8.10 linux client joins the AD domain(I can see that the account has joined the domain through the AD server):

sudo domainjoin-cli join DIONIC.COM.GR stavros.ioannidis
Joining to AD Domain: DIONIC.COM.GR
With Computer DNS Name: stavros-laptop.dionic.com.gr

stavros.ioannidis@DIONIC.COM.GR's password:
[2008/12/22 13:39:50, 0] libads/kerberos.c:ads_kinit_password(356)
kerberos_kinit_password stavros.ioannidis@DIONIC.COM.GR failed: Preauthentication failed

Error: Unable to join domain [code 0x0008000e]

Domain join operation failed to create the computer account in Active
Directory. Common causes are a bad administrator password, a bad OU name, or an
existing computer account without modification permissions.
stavros@stavros-laptop:/etc/pam.d$ sudo domainjoin-cli join DIONIC.COM.GR stavros.ioannidis
Joining to AD Domain: DIONIC.COM.GR
With Computer DNS Name: stavros-laptop.dionic.com.gr

stavros.ioannidis@DIONIC.COM.GR's password:
Failed to set operatingSystem attributes. Are you a Domain Admin?
SUCCESS

But when I am trying to ssh
ssh DIONIC.COM.GR\\stavros.ioannidis@stavros-laptop.dionic.com.gr it doesn't authenticate my account with the AD password.
Do you have any clues what could be the problem?
Thanks in advanve for any assistance.

I would suggest posting this in the actual Likewise forums:
Code:
http://www.likewisesoftware.com/community/index.php/forums/
It is pretty brand new, but they are migrating away from a mailing list format. In addition, the developers lurk there and are VERY responsive. I likes it alot!
