Thanks. That matches mine almost to a T (I have report-builder and three other styles installed).
I was particularly interested to see if your gtk integration was installed (it is), but thought a look at all the other installed packages might be useful.
Can you have a look at /var/log/apt/history.log and see if anything has been installed or removed since you noticed the change in behaviour that might explain the change?

I suspect corruption arose from something I copied or downloaded.
Recently a .docx document caused my wife's Linux Mint to throw a wobbly and necessitated a fresh installation.
I copied some text from a Google Docs blog recently and when I tried to save it in a new LibreOffice Writer document, I was presented with a large grey box instead of the layout in screenshot #1.
