LibreOffice Wont Get Rid Of Some Paragraph Characters

Ok so I am working on a file and turned on the "Show Non-Printing Characters" and I was trying to get rid of all the paragraph ones (VERY simple file, no paragraphs needed) to conserve the amount of paper needed to print it (also only for archival purposes) but there are a few that I can't get rid of, like I backspace (or delete) and it just skips over it (the new-line stays there and it goes to the character right before the paragraph/new-line) any suggestions?

Check you line spacing for space before and after a paragraph.

As I recall, LibreOffice shows a backwards-P with two lines or similar (a "paragraph" emblem) for a hard line break. Once you are rid of all the extra hard line breaks, stray vertical space is almost always a paragraph formatting issue.

Tell us what you find,
