libgtk-x11 symbol lookup error with gaim


Hi,
just updated to suse 10.0 and now gaim does not work anymore. When starting it I get the following error message:
~:gaim: symbol lookup error: /opt/gnome/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol: g_mapped_file_new

un- and reinstalling the package did not help

any suggestions are appreciated
